Seal the Deal
As college students, we're constantly on the lookout for resume builders and new job opportunities. However, with so much competition in today's job market, that pursuit doesn't mean much unless we correctly portray ourselves during (and after) the interview process. To ensure that extra attention, you should send your interviewer(s) a handwritten letter thanking them for their time. Only 5% of job applicants follow through with this simple yet crucial task. It may be old-fashioned but writing a thank you letter proves your enthusiasm and thoughtfulness as opposed to other candidates. Next time you leave an interview, make sure to seal the deal and write a thank you note.
